As exceptional as Luxembourg's location is, so is its base. Our wine-growing region stretches over 40 kilometres along the Moselle at an altitude of 150 to 250 metres above sea level between Schengen and Wasserbillig.
Our vineyards are cultivated sustainably. The terroir is characterised by the microclimate of the Luxembourg Moselle valley and two different rock formations. CharacterisedKeuper and shell limestone. Grapes that grow on Keuper produce full, harmonious wines, Muschelkalk produces elegant, racy wines with great finesse.
The R in Rarity
Luxembourg, the only Grand Duchy in the world, is exclusive in many respects: 1600 years of wine tradition, only 1,200 hectares of vineyards, one of the northernmost growing regions for quality wine, limited production quantities, unlimited variety, excellent qualities - everything that connoisseurs seek and that characterises connoisseurship.
The R in Grape Varieties
Up to 35 grape varieties can be vinified under the protected designation of origin "Moselle Luxembourgeoise". We consciously utilise this creative freedom to create unique cuvées. And we have selected the best grape varieties for this: the Burgundy varieties Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
The R in Reputation
Tradition and innovation, exclusivity and diversity, history and new territory. The aim of Maison REZBERGH is to combine opposites, creativity and meticulous winemaking, sustainability and modern viticulture and winemaking techniques to turn a centuries-old wine nation into an up-and-coming new wine region.
